Accessibility statement
Our commitment
We want everyone to be able to use this website: on any device, at any age, and with any assistive technology. The site aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. These are the international guidelines for making websites usable by people with disability.
What that means in practice
We have built the site so that:
- Everything works with a keyboard alone. You do not need a mouse or touchscreen.
- Text stays readable when you zoom to 200%, and pages work well on small phone screens.
- Colours have strong contrast, so text is easier to read in bright light or with low vision.
- Images that carry meaning have written descriptions for screen readers.
- If we add online forms, they will have clear labels and error messages that explain what to fix.
- The site respects your device’s reduced-motion setting. If you turn animation off, we keep things still.
We also chose a body text size of at least 18 pixels, because larger text is simply easier to read — especially for older readers or anyone with low vision.
Tell us if something is not working
Despite our care, you may still find a page or link that is hard to use. If you do, please tell us. Call the practice, or write to us using the details on the contact page. Let us know which page you were on and what went wrong.
We will try to fix the problem. While we work on it, we can help you another way, such as reading information to you over the phone. If you would like any information from this site in another format, ask us and we will do our best to provide it.
If you need an interpreter
If English is not your first language, you can speak with us through TIS National on 131 450. This telephone interpreter service is free for our patients. Tell the operator the language you need, and they will connect you to the practice.
